To stay on the cutting-edge of technology, Ford has recently donated to a California-based startup company dedicated to making three-dimensional maps for future autonomous vehicles.
The automaker, along with three other companies, donated over $6.6 million in seed funding to Civil Maps in order to help jumpstart this technological boom. Civil Maps will use artificial-intelligence to collect data from sensors on self-driving vehicles.
Okay, it might not be the one and only key to success, but as Ford Fusion Hybrid owners Steve and Gabrielle point out in the video below, finding a car that you can agree on certainly lends itself to a long and happy marriage.
